Welcome to the web site of mindful change, a therapy and coaching practice based in Edinburgh.
My name is Wendy Nightingale and I am committed to providing a safe, non-judgemental and confidential environment with the aim of enabling you to enjoy and appreciate life more fully. I work with individuals for either a fixed time period or on a more open-ended basis and use a range of skills that include hypnotherapy, psychotherapy and coaching. These are some of the broad areas in which I work:
- Life–change management such as changes to your work situation (redundancy/new job/new direction), relationships with your partner/family/friends;
- Learning challenges such as driving tests, exam confidence, learning strategies and concentration;
- Habit change such as stopping smoking, nail biting, insomnia and over eating;
- Fears and phobias that hold you back such as flying, public speaking, heights, spiders, etc;
- Stress management and relaxation for anxiety and physical conditions exacerbated by tension such as psoriasis, irritable bowel syndrome, and eczema;
- Confidence building for presentations, public speaking and shyness;
- Goal setting and motivation re-connecting with you and your own potential;
- Decision making and gaining clarity by exploring what's important to you.
